MBA Admissions Information And Requirements
In order to qualify for MBA Admissions you would need to be either in possession of, or close to a bachelors degree. Furthermore, it must be with a recognized learning institution and the grade has to at least a B for the final two years. International students will have to have a look at the international study requirements.
Students who do not have a B average may be able to be admitted as mature students. This is only if they have a minimum of four years of related experience, once they have completed their undergraduate degrees. These students will have to submit a detailed resume so that the eligibility as a mature student can be confirmed. The Dean of Graduate Studies would be the person who makes that decision.
Furthermore, candidates should display characteristics that show maturity as a manager. The resume and an interview is used to determine this. Additionally any references will be taken into account. Details of the professional experience should be listed in the resume. Any other information that could impress the interviewers should also be listed here. Interviews prefer that there is a minimum of two years full-time work.
Assessment reports or references from people who are able to make a candid assessment of the candidate should be submitted. At least two references should be provided. These references can be related to the academic or professional abilities.
Candidates will have to prepare two statements. One will be on how a MBA degree will be beneficial to the future career of the applicant. The other report will be on influences that have shaped who the candidate is today. A report of the GMAT test will also need to be submitted to the learning institution.
The interviewers will assess scores that relate to strengths in analytical, quantitative and verbal areas. Scores that exceed five hundred and fifty will be given preference. Candidates who do not speak English as a fist language must be proficient in English and have lived in an English-speaking country for less than three years.
A TOEFL score of five hundred and seventy-five is the minimum that is accepted by the faculty of business. TOEFL on the Internet score should be ninety. Subjects that are assessed are reading, listening, writing and speaking. Application forms for MBA Admissions must be read and understood fully. Furthermore, they need to be completed entirely in order to gain admission into the program.
